This weekend wrapped up the “Back to Me” 28 Day Challenge and what a challenge it has been!
I started this challenge to create a “conscious interrupt” in my life. Sometimes we need to hit the “reset” button by taking a step back and looking at an area of our lives where we have gotten off track. That’s when we can create the space and time to address that area so we can get back in alignment with our best selves.
Many of you joined me on this journey, committing to your own 28 day challenge. I hope in the last 4 weeks, you’ve made progress, created change and gotten the result you were looking for.
As for me, my goal was to focus on getting back to a schedule that allowed me to take better care of myself. So, I headed to Atlanta to be with the amazing Brandi Mitchell and her husband Curtis (fitness trainer). They were my support team as I juiced, got back to daily exercise and got back to sleeping at least 7 hours a night. But it wasn’t all exercise!
We laughed, talked business and threw in a few fun activities. Here’s a pic of us at the skating rink!
I also got lots of fresh air – taking morning walks just about everyday and hiking Stone Mountain several times.
The results? I’ve lost weight, gotten back to a higher level of energy, was able to readjust my schedule and prioritize so that I could continue to stay in the groove once I got home.
For those of you who participated in the 28 day challenge, I hope you were able to get back on track with whatever goals you set and like me, will continue what we started, focusing on designing the life we want – personally and professionally.
