Each year, at the annual Get RADICAL Women’s Conference, I recognize an outstanding client and present them with the RADICAL Shining Star Award. A member of the my Entrepreneur program, they have shown tremendous growth and results in building their business.

This year’s recipient Tosh Patterson, is Founder of Be Well, Eat Well, Live Well. Passionate about changing the conversation about self-care and the journey to living a healthy lifestyle, Tosh empowers her clients to move past the frustration, shame and guilt of their weight loss journey and into the realm of releasing physical and emotional weight once and for all.

[VIDEO] My Role in Jillian Michaels Maximize Your Life Tour

_MG_3544 Many of you know that Jillian Michaels has been a part of my annual Get RADICAL Women’s Conference since its inception in 2009. Over the years, she’s been an inspiration to me as I’ve watched her build her brand, grow her business and find personal happiness.

At this year’s conference, we talked about her Maximize Your Life Tour that she was just about to embark on. Presented by Live Nation, Jillian is going to 35 cities sharing her message of health living – inside and out. I saw her show in DC and you can check out my biggest takeaways here.

During the VIP luncheon at the conference, I asked her about the tour and what prompted her to want to do it. I was genuinely touched as she explained why. Check out the video for her answer:

Maximize Your Life: Science, Sweat & Self Worth

jillianbackstage Last night, I took a break from working and headed out to the Warner Theater in Washington, DC to check out Jillian Michaels’ Maximize Your Life Tour.

It was great to watch her in action as she shared her own personal journey and lessons learned along the way. I also got to say hello to several clients and lots of women who attended the Get RADICAL Women’s Conference (which she gave a “shout-out” to from the stage).

What I loved most about her message was her three keys for success – science, sweat and self-worth. Here are a couple of take-a-ways from each of those:

The RADICAL Woman Awards Program is one of the highlights of the Get RADICAL Women’s Conference. I wanted to spotlight incredible women doing amazing things in their life, business and community and honor and recognize them for their efforts and success.

The 2013 finalists were comprised of powerful, resilient, committed women who were bold and courageous enough to depart from the usual, expected or ordinary and lives with purpose and passion in all that they do. Defining success for themselves while serving others, they have designed a lifestyle that reflects their desire connect focus on family, career, community and self-care.

As you’ll see in the video, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as this year’s RADICAL Woman Award winner, Tiffany Smiling, shared her story.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been sharing with you highlights from the Get RADICAL Women’s Conference around the power and process for creating a RADICAL Revolution in your life.

We initially looked at defining what a revolution looked like. Next, we tackled “the circle” and focused on the challenges of staying on track with the goals we set.

In this third video, I explain how to identify the real reason you get stuck, off track, frustrated and procrastinate.

We are all starting our revolution, in the middle of it, or enjoying the results of finishing one and gearing up to move to the next one. The question is – which revolution do you need to focus on?

I was honored with the opportunity to speak on Doreen Rainey’s Success Panel, in which four of us from her RADICAL Success Institute shared the successes we managed to accomplish in our businesses in one year’s time. What I got from that experience was that anything is possible with consistent action.

I had no business plan or business in 2012 (just business cards and a website). Yet, I was invited to speak about my successes , along with Tosh Patterson, Cledra McCullers and Stephanie Bavaro. I was even more moved after the panel discussion with members of my POSSE sharing with the audience, what I meant to them & what it meant to be there at the conference.

Let’s Talk About Your RADICAL Revolution

2013doreenstage Since the Get RADICAL Women’s Conference over a week ago, I’ve had the pleasure of talking with many people about creating their own RADICAL Revolution and how my role as a coach and mentor can empower and equip them to make significant shifts with their personal or entrepreneurial goals. Through these conversations, I’ve discovered that many people have never worked with a coach and are curious about how the coaching process works, how coaching accelerates success and whether or not working with a coach is right for them.

At the conference, I shared how coaching and mentoring is a powerful, transforming process that allows you to deepen the learning about who you are and what you want to accomplish as well as to move forward, with confidence, in the action steps needed to make “it” happen. I talked about the RADICAL Revolution Coaching Programs and that the curriculum and structure of these programs are based on four foundational pillars – Education, Training, Coaching & Support.
