Why I Have Regrets

noregretsI am always fascinated when people say they have no regrets. REALLY?

None? Zero? Nada? Zilch?

How is it possible to have NO regrets?

A regret is defined as feeling sorrow or remorse. Regret is often a feeling of sadness, shame, embarrassment, annoyance or guilt after one acts in a certain manner and later wishes not to have done so. Based on these definitions, how can anyone say they have no regrets?

I’ll be the first to admit it – I have regrets. And not just one or two. If I really sat down and thought about it, there’s probably a long list of them.

When I look back over my life to times when I was a teenager, in college, made certain choices around a job or my career, as well as my business – yes, there they are. Regrets.

So what gives when I hear people say they have no regrets?

[VIDEO] My Role in Jillian Michaels Maximize Your Life Tour

_MG_3544Many of you know that Jillian Michaels has been a part of my annual Get RADICAL Women’s Conference since its inception in 2009. Over the years, she’s been an inspiration to me as I’ve watched her build her brand, grow her business and find personal happiness.

At this year’s conference, we talked about her Maximize Your Life Tour that she was just about to embark on. Presented by Live Nation, Jillian is going to 35 cities sharing her message of health living – inside and out. I saw her show in DC and you can check out my biggest takeaways here.

During the VIP luncheon at the conference, I asked her about the tour and what prompted her to want to do it. I was genuinely touched as she explained why. Check out the video for her answer:
