I am always fascinated when people say they have no regrets. REALLY?
None? Zero? Nada? Zilch?
How is it possible to have NO regrets?
A regret is defined as feeling sorrow or remorse. Regret is often a feeling of sadness, shame, embarrassment, annoyance or guilt after one acts in a certain manner and later wishes not to have done so. Based on these definitions, how can anyone say they have no regrets?
I’ll be the first to admit it – I have regrets. And not just one or two. If I really sat down and thought about it, there’s probably a long list of them.
When I look back over my life to times when I was a teenager, in college, made certain choices around a job or my career, as well as my business – yes, there they are. Regrets.
So what gives when I hear people say they have no regrets?
One of the reasons I enjoy my work is because of the amazing people I get to know. My clients are powerful, focused and committed to upleveling their business and reaching their goals.
The journey of an entrepreneur is never 100% smooth sailing. There are ups and downs, ebbs and flows and tough decisions to make. It’s during both the good times and the challenging times that business owners must make choices to keep moving forward and keep marching toward their goals.
